3. Extraction: Use pure water reflux at 70–80°C for oral products or 30–40% ethanol for standardized rosmarinic acid, strictly controlling extraction temperature.  

4. Multi‑Stage Filtration: Apply coarse, plate‑and‑frame, and cartridge filtration sequentially to remove fibers and colloids.  

5. Vacuum Concentration: Concentrate under low temperature (≤70°C) to preserve phenolic compounds, and recover ethanol when used, with temperature as a critical control.  

6. Refining (standardized only): Enrich rosmarinic acid via macroporous resin adsorption and elution, removing polysaccharides and ash, and verify standardization by HPLC.  

7. Drying: Use spray drying (inlet ≤150°C, outlet <80°C) for standard ratios or vacuum low‑temperature drying for high‑content versions, controlling temperature throughout.  

8. Quality Inspection and Packaging: Perform HPLC assay for rosmarinic acid, check microbiology and pesticide residues, then package in double‑layer moisture‑proof, light‑protected materials, ensuring all quality criteria are met.

Q: Are organic and non-organic production lines separate?

A: Yes. Organic raw materials are worked on in special workshops that have their own tools. Cross-contamination can't happen when schedules are spread out.

Q: What's the difference between 2%, 5%, and 10% rosmarinic acid specs?
