Source of Raw Material

Rhizomes that are three years old come from highland areas in Yunnan and Sichuan states. When ecdysterone levels are highest, these wild-harvested and standardized-grown roots are picked in the fall and winter.

Grading System

· Refined Grade: High-quality rhizomes with less than 0.01% chemical traces, used for 90–98% of the time

· Standard Grade: Roots that have been checked for quality for 50% mid-level juices

· Organic Certified: Materials that have been checked by USDA or ECOCERT are available upon request

Supply Chain Transparency

There is origin evidence and standard content certificates in every run. Our method for tracking keeps track of where the crops were grown, when they were harvested, and when they were extracted.

Solubility Characteristics

· Very easy to dissolve in ethanol, methanol, and hot water (>60°C)

· It dissolves a little in cold water and propylene glycol.

· Doesn't mix with oils and fats (needs emulsifiers for lipid-based systems)

Stability Under Stress Conditions

· Thermal Stability: Keeps its strength up to 85°C; slowly loses it above 95°C

· pH Tolerance: Stable between 4.5 and 7.5; strong acids and bases cause precipitation.

· Light Sensitivity: dry Ecdysterone Powder can be stored in photos, but water-based products need to be kept in clear glass.

· Resistance to moisture: the 98% pure grade is slightly hygroscopic, so sealed aluminium foil packing is best.

1. Pretreatment: Wash roots, dry at 50–60°C to moisture ≤10%, while monitoring temperature and removing foreign matter.  

2. Grinding: Mill to 60–80 mesh to ensure optimal extraction, controlling particle size distribution.  

3. Extraction: Perform 30–40% ethanol reflux at 70–75°C for 3 cycles, with a solvent‑to‑material ratio of 1:8 and precise time control.  

4. Filtration: Pass through bag, plate‑and‑frame, and precision cartridge filters sequentially, and verify turbidity is below 10 NTU.  

5. Concentration: Concentrate under vacuum at ≤70°C, monitoring solid content to reach 12–18%.  

6. Purification: Treat with macroporous resin, followed by n‑butanol extraction and recrystallization, with HPLC in‑process testing at each step.  

7. Drying: Dry under vacuum at 45–50°C for high‑purity grades, and verify final moisture with a moisture analyzer.  

8. Packaging: Pack in double‑layer aluminum foil and 25kg fiber drums, flushing with nitrogen and maintaining humidity below 60%.

Multiple Levels of Testing

Each batch goes through HPLC testing to make sure it is effective, ICP-MS testing for heavy metals, GC-MS/LC-MS testing for pesticide residues, and USP <61>/<62> testing for microbes. To make sure they are safe for food, we also check for chemical residue.

Validation by a third party

For independent proof, we work with recognised labs like SGS and Eurofins. Shipments come with a COA and an allergy statement.

Documentation for Traceability

The lot numbers are linked to records of the raw materials' batches, the extraction logs, and the quality control reports. This shows the whole chain of custody.

Q1: What's the difference between 50% and 98% purity grades?

A: The 50% version goes through basic resin processing, which makes it good for low-cost formulas. The 98% grade has extra steps of recrystallisation that make it as pure as pharmaceutical grade for high-end goods.

Q2: Will the item clump during humid shipping?

A: The aluminium paper that seals our packaging keeps wetness out. Even in humid places, drums that are properly sealed stay stable.

Q3: Can you provide samples before bulk orders?

A: Yes, we do give away 50–100g samples for free. There are shipping costs.

Q4: Is this ingredient suitable for vegan capsule formulations?

A: Of course. It comes from plants and works with veggie and vegan pills.

Q5: How long does production take for custom orders?

A: The usual wait time after a deposit is 15 to 20 days. Adding 5 to 7 days for custom packing.
